We would like to elect Plymouth's first Green councillor.

Our local activists are working really hard to get our message to the people of Plymouth, showing them our alternative vision for a long term sustainable future. 

But we need your help!

The evidence is clear, to win elections we must campaign throughout the year, outside of the election period. 

We don’t have  big corporates sponsors like the other main parties. That means that we rely on our members and supporters like you to fund us.

The Impact

We will spend funds raised to:

• print year-round  leaflets 
• campaign on critical local issues 
• deliver our green message directly to local residents. 

All this will mean we reach more voters than ever before and put us in the best position come the 2020 local election.

We can help thousands of potential Green voters in Plymouth understand how the Green Party will deliver the change they are demanding.

You can be sure that other party candidates will simply toe the party line but a Green councillor – even just one – makes a massive difference to the communities they serve.

Donating just:

• £5 will mean we deliver  election campaign leaflets to 40 houses
• £10 will enable us to put up 20 green party posters
• £15 will allow us to deliver ward newsletters to 250 houses!

FAQs:

What about the likely general election? Surely that's a priority?

We already have candidates ready for any forthcoming general election. We also have funds in place to cover our general election campaign costs, meaning we're now able to plan ahead. 

What wards are you targeting? 

We have worked very carefully to select where we will focus our efforts in Plymouth. However at this stage, months ahead of the election, we don't want to compromise our work by publicly announcing where we are targeting as this will hand an advantage to other parties. What we can say is that every penny we raise will be spent on our Plymouth campaign.

Can I Help In Other Ways?

Yes! Telling your friends and sharing this Crowdfunder on social media is incredibly useful. You can also volunteer to help with our campaign by contacting us on Facebook. 

P.S Because we are a political party: 

We are required to run permissibility checks on donations over £500. These will be completed as pledges are made. For the same reason, we cannot accept anonymous donations over £500.

If you make multiple donations to us, they may be aggregated for our reporting purposes.

Your details will appear in our election returns if valued over £500.
