Hello. I'm Paul Kohler and I am campaigning to be your MP in Wimbledon.
With your help, I want to raise £10,000 to support my campaign.
I am fundraising because elections are expensive. We read every day about the massive donations given to the Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats do not receive donations like this, so I am asking if you can spare whatever you can to help me bring change to our area and country.
Our constituency has over 70,000 voters in 42,000 properties - that's a lot of doors to knock on! I and my team want to ensure we reach as many people as possible by 4th July.
With your donations, we will be able to
- Drive home our message of change with our campaign literature
- Build a solid digital campaign to reach all voters
- Fund the campaign team working hard in the background to help get me elected as your next MP
I'm standing because, like you, I don't want to be represented by a Conservative MP in Westminster for a minute longer.
We need MPs who understand the challenges people are facing, and will speak up for those the Conservatives have ignored and taken for granted.
We need MPs who care about our environment and want to take the important decisions needed to protect it.
We need more MPs who have a wealth of life and career experience in the 'real world' to bring into parliament.

It is a privilege to be standing to contest the general election on 4th July as the Lib Dem candidate for Wimbledon. My wife and I have lived in this constituency, where we raised our four daughters, for almost 30 years. I want to give something back to the community that has been so supportive to us.
People in Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Merton Park, Motspur Park, Morden and Old & New Malden deserve better than more chaos under the Conservatives who have broken their promises on International Development spending, action on climate change as well as presiding over an economy with high inflation, rising mortgages and rents plus hitting hard-pressed families and small businesses across the Wimbledon constituency with a tax hikes at a time many are still reeling from the impact of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis.
There is huge appetite for change amongst the voters of Wimbledon who have had enough of Tory mismanagement. I will stand up for our public services like the NHS and schools where our current Tory MP has failed to do so; and I will strive to give a voice to Wimbledon residents who demand better from their government and their MP. The people of Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Merton Park, Motspur Park, Morden and Old & New Malden deserve better than this. They need an MP who they can trust and who will fight for a fairer deal for our area.
