Elect Kirsten Sutton to West Sussex County Council to deliver better education and safer roads for our community.
Haywards Heath deserves a representative who understands the local landscape and has a professional background in the services that matter most to our families.
I am that person.
My career has been shaped by a desire to build bridges through education, political engagement, and cultural dialogue. I have worked in education for over 25 years, teaching students from Year 9 through to Sixth Form in Haywards Heath and across Sussex. Since 2025, I have served as a Town Councillor, engaging directly with local people and contributing to decision-making within my community.
A Record of Standing Up for You As a Haywards Heath Town Councillor and member of the planning committee, I have already been a strong voice in scrutinizing developers to ensure our town's growth works for residents, not just building firms.
If elected to the County Council, I will fight for:
Better Education: Using my 25+ years of experience to ensure every child in our area gets the support they need.
Safer, Better Roads: Prioritising pothole repairs, road maintenance, and road safety measures.
Stronger Scrutiny: Continuing to hold developers and the council to account.
The Challenge: The results from the Bentswood and Heath by-election last year show that this is a straight choice between the Liberal Democrats and Reform. I beat Reform to be elected with a clear lead over the the Reform candidates, proving that only the local Lib Dem team has a track record of beating them here.
To win on 7 May and bring this fight to County Hall, I need your support. We don't have the backing of wealthy distant donors; we are powered by local people who want a better future for Haywards Heath.
Your donation will fund the vital campaign materials such as leaflets, letters, and digital outreach needed to win on the doorsteps and secure the hardworking representation our community deserves.
Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can win on 7 May.
"Kirsten is exactly the kind of representative we need. Her extensive background in education and her experience on the Town Council mean she is ready to hit the ground running for the County." Alison Bennett MP
P.S. We also need volunteers on the ground and posters up in windows and gardens as it is our network that outperforms Reform. Follow this link to volunteer to call, deliver or canvass voters and this link to receive a poster for your windows or garden.
