I'm absolutely delighted to be the SNP candidate for candidate for Ettrick, Roxburgh & Berwickshire for next year's Scottish Parliament election, and I'm standing to give our communities the voice we’ve been missing for too long.
I wasn’t born into politics, my family and I have spent our lives working hard and dealing with the same pressures so many of you face every day. I know what it's like to feel left behind and forgotten about while Tory politicians like Rachael Hamilton look after their own interests.
This campaign is about you — the workers, carers, farmers, parents, young people, and pensioners who deserve better.
We have a real opportunity to bring a fresh start to Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire, but I can’t do it alone.
Campaigning in a rural area like ours takes real grassroots support. That means leaflets, posters, online advertisement — and most importantly, time spent on the ground, talking to real people.
