Back Lambeth Greens in Myatt's Fields by-election

Aim

Help Lambeth Green Party campaign for a Green win in the Myatt's Fields by-election – and build our campaigning strength across Lambeth.

In May, we elected Lambeth's first-ever Green Council. But it's a minority council group with only 46% of the seats, meaning Labour and the Lib Dems can stop us implementing the manifesto promises residents voted for.

If we win this by-election, we're one step closer to have over 50% of the seats, one step closer to making real change to our lives.

We've already managed to make our council more democratic, empower residents, and start protecting services.

Through all that, we've been standing up the Labour government that tried to make it impossible for us to change how the council works, conduct harmful immigration raids on our communities, introduce codes of conduct that would harm trans people. 

We need to keep going. Myatt's Fields residents deserve a champion who can stand up to developers and the endless mismanaged regeneration. 

Our Green councillor in Myatt's Fields, Patience Clague, has been working hard in the community, listening to people's needs and concerns. We have a campaign ready to go. But now we need your support to make it a reality.

This by-election has been caused by the sad death of Cllr Annie Gallop. Our thoughts are with her family and colleagues.

Campaigning costs add up quickly:

• £30 is around the cost of 1,000 envelopes
• £50 is around the cost of printing 1,000 leaflets
• £225 is around the cost of printing a leaflet for every household in Myatt's Fields 

How are donations used?

Donations through this page are made to Lambeth Green Party. They are not donations to an individual candidate and are not earmarked for the candidate’s election expenses.

Lambeth Green Party manages and controls the funds we raise and decides how they are used. The Myatt’s Fields by-election is our immediate campaigning priority, so we expect to spend significant party resources campaigning in the ward.

All donations are unrestricted donations to Lambeth Green Party. If we raise more than we need for the Myatt’s Fields campaign, or cannot lawfully or effectively spend all of the funds on it, the balance will remain with Lambeth Green Party and may be used for our wider campaigning, future elections and other political activities.

Greens rely heavily on grassroots support from individuals. Your donation helps us campaign effectively both now and in the future.
