Aim
The wonderful Catalan group El Pony Pisador went down an absolute storm when they came to our Festival in 2017 & 2018. We want them back!
Harwich International Shanty Festival is a Community Festival which takes place in the historic seaport town of Harwich, UK. Our Festival is a celebration of all things maritime and we include trains, boats, pirates, workshops and historical re-enactment alongside the lusty shanties and music which fills the town. We're a small committee with big ideas and the Festival has gone from strength to strength over the 17 years of its existence. For 2023 we are keen to have the wonderfully talented El Pony Pisador as our headline act, but the Ponies have become famous in their home country and command a much bigger fee. Please help us to bring them over. You won't regret it!!
