 New stretch target

To run for Parliament I'll need more than 10 times this stretch target - but I have to start somewhere! Leaflets, hall hire, postage, it all adds up.

Ed GEMMELL will be Wycombe's next MP if we support him. ITS UP TO US!

This first fundraiser will cover the cost of the first leaflets and other materials needed for Ed's campaign in High Wycombe.

Already an Independent local councillor for Buckinghamshire Ed Gemmell is the Leader of the Climate Party nationally - pro-business, pro-climate.

Ed Gemmell is a single dad living in High Wycombe in Hazlemere with his two sons (one at RGS). He trained as a lawyer and was in the army before setting up his own marketing business. He's a keen sports player having played a high level of rugby and now plays hockey for Wycombe Hockey Club and is a regular Wycombe Rye Park Runner.

Ed Gemmell is a regular commentator on television pressing for Britain to grab the massive  business opportunities presented by climate change to rapidly grow the British economy delivering properity for British people. 92% of the World has committed to reaching net zero and dealing with climate change. This presents the commercial and industrial opportunity of the century and Britain can lead. If we want money to invest in our NHS, our social services, our police and armed forces, if want to lift everyone out of poverty and provide energy and food security then Britain needs to lead this new clean industrial opportunity and not be at the back ot the queue paying China for our solar panels and wind trubines.

In 5 years, at the end of the next Parliament, I want to be able to look back and see our economy thriving, and say 'we have done so much more than we thought we ever could'.

Ed wants to change the way we view climate change from a threat to an opportunity - an opportunity to fuel the UK economy for years to come.

Living in Hazlemere, where better to make the case that in Wycombe where the current MP is Steve Baker. Ed has met Steve many times, and they agree on the need for a vibrant economy - but they disagree on Climate. Ed sees the global race to net zero as a business opportunity, which will accelerate the shift away from carbon as we adopt new ways and new tech. 'pro business, pro climate'. Britain lead the first Industrial Revolution - why aren't we leading this next one?
