Help Talks With M.S. send members of our community to MSToronto2026, the global meeting on MS research and care.
Talks With M.S. is a registered UK charity founded by Terri-Louise Brown. We exist to make sure people living with MS, and the families who support them, are seen, heard and included in the decisions that affect their lives. Alongside our community conversations, our work includes Unlimited, our recognition programme for young carers.
Our belief is simple: we don't fix people. We fix systems. Too many of the systems around MS, from research to healthcare to support services, were built without the people who live with it at the table. We're here to change that.
Our idea
From 21 to 23 October 2026, researchers, clinicians and leaders from around the world will meet in Toronto for MSToronto2026, the 10th joint meeting of ACTRIMS and ECTRIMS. It's where the latest MS research is shared and where the future of treatment and care begins to take shape.
We want our community to be there, not watching from the outside but present, listening, asking questions and making sure lived experience is part of the conversation. Then we want to bring everything back home so that people who couldn't travel get the benefit too.
Our vision
We see a future where people living with MS are recognised as experts in their own lives and are welcomed into the spaces where research and care are designed. Sending our community to Toronto is one step towards that. It builds knowledge, confidence and connections that will strengthen our work for years to come.
How we'll use the money
We're raising £2,000 to send members of our community to Toronto. Your donations will cover:
When our team returns, we'll share what we've learned through plain English summaries, updates on our channels and a community session where everyone can talk it through together.
