Ecopia - for a more sustainable community

Ecopia is an innovative service that sources and delivers eco-conscious artisanal toiletries made in your area.

We work with local makers to source and stock sustainable alternatives to everyday products without the plastic, from premium-quality shampoo bars and hand-crafted soaps to refillable candles and bamboo toothbrushes. 

Our products are skin-kind, free from nasty chemicals and never tested on animals.

Refill, reuse, recycle - repeat

We prioritise refillable options and run a deposit scheme on aluminium bottles for liquids and glass jars for candles to encourage reuse rather than refuse.

We're a family of three and right now we've just set up in Stockport, Greater Manchester, funding the venture ourselves as best we can. We'd like to bring our vision to every community and with your support, we hope to make our dream for a more sustainable world a reality. 

Minimising environmental impact

At Ecopia, we’re committed to keeping our environmental impact to a minimum - we use biodegradable, refillable or recyclable packaging and limit deliveries to set locations on specific days.

We’re also avid plastic avoiders - there are well-documented links between the chemicals released by plastic packaging and hormone disruption - if you’re interested, have a read of this for a bit of background information.

All of our products are handmade by artisans - many locally based. When you buy from Ecopia, you're doing your bit to support the planet - and people. 

Small changes add up

If enough of us make some small changes, such as ditching the plastic and choosing to refill, using natural ingredients instead of chemicals and supporting local independent business, we can create a more sustainable community for everyone.
