CSNICC 2022 - Investing in our Future: Investing in our Youth, Investing in our Academy & Investing in our Women.
CSNICC is a successful, vibrant cricket club situated within the picturesque Stormont Estate in Belfast with mens, womens' and youth sections. We play competitive cricket in the Northern Cricket Union (NCU) in various league and cup competitions.”

We, like all Sports Clubs have been impacted by COVID over the past 2 years. We have had to cancel various projects and we have lost players, volunteers, financial revenues and coaches. As we come out of these past 2 years we want to re-energise & re-invest in the specific areas of our youth, our academy & our women.
Youth programmes:
Our youth section caters for boys & girls and we have U-11, U-13, U-15 & U-17 teams. We hope to expand the number of boys & girls playing cricket at CSNICC to pre-pandemic numbers when we had over 120 players. We intend to re-introduce our schools' programmes where we provide our Club coaches to local schools to introduce cricket.
We also will starting a new programme called CSNICC Cubs this programme will be for boys and girls who have never played cricket before in the age range of P2-P4.

We will also be starting up our off-season programme in the Winter months after the season is finished, this will provide indoor cricket coaching & games in a fun and safe environment.

Academy:
We will also be re-introducing our Academy - we currently have in excess of 20 young cricketers both boys & girls in youth provincial pathway programmes and we also have 6 players in national youth pathways. As a Club we will support these cricketers with exposure to new, innovative and high quality coaching to help them on their cricketing journey to reach their potential.

Women:
Our women's section has been hugely successful over the past number of years and they are currently the NCU League & Cup winners from 2021. However, we recognise that we need to invest further. We intend to build upon our success and we will target the specific age range of 11-15 years old and provide girls only sessions. These new sessions will commence in April:

We want to invest in our future and we require support to deliver these projects.
With the money raised we will invest it directly into these areas. We will be training additional new coaches we will purchase cricket balls, age appropriate coaching equipment cricket equipment and high quality coaching to all our members.
We want to bounce back stronger with these new programmes, we want to grow our junior & women's membership providing cricket in a fun & safe environment in the beautiful setting of Stormont.

Thank you for supporting us and any contribution will be matched by Sport NI if we raise £5,000.
