Eaton Park Padel – Be Part of Norwich’s New Sporting Chapter!

Padel is coming to Eaton Park and you can get involved.

For over a decade, Eaton Park has been at the heart of community tennis: a place where thousands of people have learnt, played, and connected through sport. Now, we’re bringing the world’s fastest-growing sport, padel, to the park.

Together, we can create an exciting new space where everyone, from first-time players to families and seasoned athletes, can play, connect, and belong.

🎾 Why Padel?

Padel is fun, social, and easy to learn, the perfect blend of tennis and squash. It’s fast, inclusive, and ideal for players of all ages and abilities.

We are building four brand-new floodlit padel courts alongside Eaton Park’s existing tennis facilities, creating a vibrant year-round hub for both sports in the heart of Norwich.

But this project is about more than building courts:

• It will grow the community, giving people more ways to play.
• It will help keep sport affordable and accessible.
• It will create a lasting legacy for Norwich.

By adding padel to Eaton Park, we will:

• Keep the park thriving as a welcoming, inclusive sports centre.
• Ensure access to coaching and courts remains affordable for all.
• Inspire the next generation to get active, make friends, and fall in love with the game.

Together, we can make Eaton Park a true community home for tennis and padel — for today and for the next generation.

🎯 Launch Packages

These packages are designed to give people the opportunity to get involved ahead of opening, while also securing exclusive, discounted access to play once we launch.

To clarify, these are not simply donations — they are early-access packages that provide real playing value, while also helping us unlock additional community funding.

We have been conditionally awarded £15,000 from Sport England, which will go towards community activation such as:

• Free open days
• Social sessions to help people get started
• Equipment for new players
• Outreach work in local schools

To receive this funding, we need to raise £15,000 through the Crowdfunder before opening. The launch packages are designed to help achieve this, while rewarding those who support the project early.

Padel Friend — £100

• Free padel booking rights for 3 months
• Weekly group coaching sessions for 3 months
• Branded Norwich Parks Padel t-shirt

Padel Supporter — £250

• 6-month padel membership with free booking
• Weekly group coaching for 6 months
• Branded Norwich Parks Padel t-shirt

Padel Plus — £500

• 12-month padel membership with free booking
• Weekly group coaching for 12 months
• Premium padel racket & balls
• Branded Norwich Parks Padel t-shirt

ℹ️ Pricing Structure When We Open

To keep things simple and accessible, pricing will be:

Court bookings (per person, based on 4 players):

• Pay & Play: £5 per person, per hour
• Annual Membership (£60): £2.50 per person, per hour

Group coaching

• £36 per month for 1 hour session per week (starting June)
