East London Radio - an important local voice

After 7 years doing what we're doing, we've built up tens of thousands of listeners, followers and supporters, right across East London.

We want to continue through this time and grow beyond it.

We have a wonderful team of volunteers, of all ages and backgrounds.

People for whom we've not only given a voice, but boosted their confidence, given them new skills, and helped their wellbeing and career opportunities.

Understandably, we've had to close our studio now, but want to continue on a remote basis, by lending volunteers equipment, so they can still contribute radio content from their own safe home environments.

We have, sadly, lost some advertising income, and so want to offer businesses the chance to pay forward (into 2021 if necessary) for their expected advertising and promotional needs as they equally relaunch and we move back towards normality.

This will ensure we're able to cover our studio, insurance, licensing and other costs over the coming months, whilst still making important speech radio, really engaging our local communities.

We've never had surplus funds to offer our volunteers travel expenses, but can see this will be far more important in future, and it will help us attract and retain a wider representative group of people.

From radio adverts to live interviews to show sponsorship, we can advise what would work for you.
