Provide invaluable support to patients and clients who need PIPS Hope and Support and Southern Area Hospice.
Covid-19 has shattered PIPS and SAHS opportunity to raise funds for their services, many of their initiatives have been postponed or cancelled putting significant strain on the financial position of our vital chairities.
PIPS Hope and Support is the leading, independant advocate in the Southern Trust area on all aspects of suicide, including intervention, prevention, postvention and trauma in order to reduce and prevent suicide, self-harm and emotional & mental distress.
Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern Health Board Area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and AIDS. Our aim is to provide the best quality of life for our patients and their families.
On Easter Sunday, Newry City Councillor Roisin Mulgrew wants you to join us as we undertake the 5minute step challenge or TikTok video from the comfort of your home or garden. Simply, walk on a spot for 5minutes and MAKE A DONATION OF YOUR CHOICE to this crowdfunding page that will support the continuation of the services these charities have been providing to our community. ALL monies raised will be disbursed between the two. If you can't do 5 minutes, do still join us and do as little or as much as you can.
Be sure to coach your friends and family to join and donate. Send your photos and/or video clips to [email protected]
