Co-op Warm Spaces Funding Boost has provided £820 of match funding
Help us to fundraise to continue to provide a warm and welcoming space this winter as we continue to welcome 1000 people per week
At East Belfast Mission we are here to change lives and our doors are open to anyone in need. Our Mission is to share hope, love and leadership in East Belfast and our vision is for a thriving, inclusive and confident East Belfast.

We offer services to alleviate the difficulties faced by our community through projects such as our Hosford Homelessness services, our Employability project which helps people back to work, our Irish Language project to connect a divided community, our social economy businesses which provide employment and volunteering opportunities, and of course our thriving church community which offers community groups, counselling and pastoral care to those who need it.
Our Work is based on the Lower Newtownards Road in Inner East Belfast, which is one of the most economically disadvantaged areas of Northern Ireland. 15% of the population are living in households whose income is below 60% of the NI average, 30% of the working age population are employment deprived and 49% of families are in poverty.

This winter we are crowdfunding to help our charity to fund the growing energy bills required to create a warm and safe environment for everyone who needs our help, a space of reprieve for many of those in our community struggling to heat their homes this winter.
Every £1 you donate will be match funded by the Co-Op local community fund to allow us to continue our vital work during these most challenging times.
All of the money raised will help us to maintain our vital services in the face of rising energy costs as well as allowing us to keep our centre warm and welcoming for those who are struggling to heat their homes this winter.
