East Beach Water Testing

Aim

We want to continue testing the water at East Beach each week, to make sure it is safe for swimmers and other water users.

We are really sick (literally) of the number of times sewage is released into the sea at East Beach, stopping us from swimming or using it for other activities. Our group was set up to try to do something about it. 

We've already achieved bathing water status for East Beach which means the Environment Agency will test the water 20 times in the summer months, but we want to test it all year round. Then we can hold the EA and our Water Company to account.

We had funding to test last year, but now that has run out so we need to raise money so we can keep going.
