We're still collecting donations
On the 23rd December 2023 we'd raised £5,272 with 96 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Please help us get our band to the studio, make our noises into the microphones, and find their way back out to you.

On the 23rd December 2023 we'd raised £5,272 with 96 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Investing into the band for fixing equipment, creation of merchandise, continuing promotional efforts and most importantly organising a tour to take EAB on the road. We would love to tour our album after recording it and so this would allow us to dream that far!
Green Man Rising 2023’s crowned champions come with Bible-black parables, nursery rhymes and ballads, played against avant-garde acoustic band music to form echoes of '60s Folk Revival, Americana, and Alternative Folk.
Eve was already writing and performing her songs in the pubs, bars and streets of Bridport before leaving school. The band was formed in Bristol while earning degrees in their craft, more fans and critical praise. The final product together as a live band was only finalised about 6 months ago, bringing expertise to a body of extraordinary songs.
Incredibly, just 2 months later, we found our way over 3,000 other entries to get to the final 5 of the prestigious Green Man Rising competition, where we seemed to play well enough in the live final watched by thousands (judge for yourself here):
A panel of judges from all over the music industry agreed with you and picked us as the winners!
So, in August, we opened Green Man Festival's main stage in front of the iconic mountains in the unforgiving Welsh rain
‘Eve Appleton Band, the winners of this year’s Green Man Rising competition, kick off proceedings on the Mountain Stage with a burst of compelling progressive folk songs. “Thank you for waiting in all the water,” Appleton tells a rain-soaked yet quickly charmed crowd.’ - NME
It was a ridiculous and beautiful day. If NME thinks our music is "compelling" and "progressive" then don't you think it should be "recorded"?
We feel that there is momentum behind us built by new fans and long-time supporters.
We play live regularly as all great bands should, but we earn nothing from our gigs individually: all monies go straight into the band kitty. It covers our travel and rehearsal space to keep us on top form but also things like promotion etc. We have an abundance of songs that you can hear us play live, but studio time is expensive, and we are struggling to see when the kitty will ever stretch to being able to record them.
So we are asking for your help to get us in the studio and bring these songs to the rest of the world.
Every donation of any size will come with heartfelt gratitude, but there are also treasures to be had. Of course, there are T-shirts and tote bags, but there is also the chance to own/experience something truly unique, from us, to you.
We hope that we can match your generosity with a product to be proud of. We are looking forward to seeing you beautiful people soon.
THANK YOU!
