Aim
Raise funds to run free Dysart Park community events in 2027, covering equipment, entertainment, safety and activities for local families
Dysart Park Action Group is a small team of local volunteers who organise free community events in Dysart Park, Grantham. We do this because shared experiences bring a town together – especially activities families can enjoy without worrying about cost.
In 2027 we will be running three events:
- Gingerbread Festival - 9 May 2027
- Family Fun Day - 4 July 2027
- Family Fun Jazz Festival - 12 September 2027
These days give children something to look forward to, create a relaxed place for friends and families to meet, and support local performers, charities and small businesses who take part.
None of us are paid. We give our time because we care about the park and our community. But putting on safe, well-run events still has real costs.
The money raised will go directly towards:
- stage and sound equipment
- performers and entertainment
- children’s activities and crafts
- insurance and licences
- safety equipment and facilities
Our vision is simple – a lively park where people of all ages can come together and enjoy their community without financial barriers.
