Who are we?
We are are Duffield Cricket Club, the largest amateur club in Derbyshire providing recreational cricket for hundreds of girls, boys, men and women across several teams. We are also a community hub and have a facility available for many other community uses such as yoga, parties, christenings, toddler group, wakes etc
Why are we crowdfunding?
We're desperately trying to raise £15,000 to fill a funding gap in our project to extend our pavilion to make it fit for purpose following the expansion of our club.
Our current scorers facilities are deemed inadequate by the league and we have been warned that the club faces sanctions if these facilities are not improved by next season.
We're extremely grateful to the Vernon Bowmer Trust for awarding us a significant grant to make this project happen but need to fund this gap to complete the project.
The new facility will provide new, league compliant, elevated scorers areas, new larger kitchen, 2 larger viewing balconies front and rear and larger garage / storage space enabling us to lose our shipping container.
