DRAW FOR LAURIE: win artwork & raise vital funds

Aim

Raising essential funds for Hospiscare with an Art Prize Draw. Tickets cost £10 for a chance to win beautiful, original artworks.

DRAW FOR LAURIE is a prize draw fundraising event for Hospiscare, in memory of much loved, acclaimed artist Laurie Steen RWA. 

Renowned for her exquisite drawings, Laurie was also a wonderful educator, passionate about enabling others (children and adults) to find joy in their own inherent ability to make and create and to really engage with the beauty of the natural world. 

With DRAW FOR LAURIE we aim to celebrate and perpetuate the ethos of her practice, whilst supporting the important work of Hospiscare.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Generous artists - both professional and amateur (as Laurie would have wished) - are donating (unframed) artwork. It could be a painting, drawing, print, photograph or collage.  Drawings by Laurie herself are also included in the prize draw.

To enter the draw and have a chance to win one of these incredible artworks, buy a draw ticket either online via this page or in person at the exhibition in September (details below). 

Tickets cost £10 each. You may buy as many tickets as you wish to increase your chances of winning.  One ticket equals one entry into the prize draw. (To be compliant we must also offer a Free Entry Route. This is available by post. Please see Terms and Conditions for details for how to apply).

WHEN IS THE DRAW?

There will be a DRAW FOR LAURIE exhibition at Fursdon House, Cadbury, Devon on 20th and 21st September (draw tickets also available in person at this event). Followed by the Prize Draw on 22nd September where we will draw one ticket for each artwork.

Winners will be notified within 7 days of the Prize Draw and we will arrange delivery to you.

DRAW FOR LAURIE provides an opportunity for Hospiscare to gain essential funds, for artists to gain exposure and for winners to gain art. 

Hospiscare looked after Laurie and her family at the end of her life, just as they support and care for over 2000 adults every year across Devon. They help families cope at the hardest times. Find out more at www.hospiscare.co.uk
