About Us
Dramatize has been running for the past 12 and half years, predominantly in the Spelthorne borough, running services for adults with learning disabilities consisting of a Day Care service and an Employment and Life Skills programme within our very own tea room.
Last September we expanded into the Woking Borough and took over the Moorcroft community centre, in Westfield, Woking. This led us the opportunity to take over the Cafe area of the Vyne but soon realised the whole centre was in threat of closing.
After long discussions with Woking BC we are thrilled that we will be taking over the Vyne Centre and bringing it back to life to create a place for all to use and benefit from.
We have secured all original hall hires within our facilitates and look forward to welcoming more community groups to access the centre.
How you can help us!
The money will go towards the costs of re-opening the centre: re-building relationships with local groups and supporters; moving our Tea Room across to the Vyne; and most importantly keeping the groups running for the socially isolated!
Once we have settled in, we plan to improve and expand the services on offer. Bringing in other local charities, building a team of volunteers who can help us run events and extend opening hours, while still keeping our prices affordable for local families. We plan to continue to build strong partnerships with local charities, businesses, schools and NHS bodies to bring the community centre back to life!
