Aim
To provide financial advice through a series of entertaining drama sketches with themes of highlight money saving ideas
MPAS are devoted to providing a performing arts training and experience to our young members. We also want to help those less fortunate than ourselves and think that Drama can be used to bring people together and provide information in an interesting and entertaining way. Encouraging our young members to contribute to the scripts and format of the show will help them build confidence in their theatre skills and also highlight the plight of the older members of our community who may be less fortunate and struggle to heat and eat this winter.
We are producing a series of Drama sketches tackling the theme of The Cost of Living Crisis - in an entertaining way. The project will feature some of our students, graduates and friends in Tryst and Shot in the Dark Theatre Companies and will include short sketches, song and dance finished of with a chat and a cup of tea in our cosy studios. It will bring young and old together which will beneifit everyone involved.
The fundraising campaign will help us to provide this entertaining and informative show - free of charge to members of our local community. It will also help us to provide complimentary tea and biscuits and maybe a treat to take home.
