To provide free coffee and hot drinks to the NHS staff at the new Nightingale Dragonheart hospital in Cardiff
Change Please supports people who are homeless with jobs, housing and training as a barista. However, as we have coffee units across the UK which aren't being used due to Covid19, the NHS has asked us to support with providing coffee across the new Nightingale hospitals.
The Cardiff Dragonheart Nightingale hospital at the Principality stadium would be our third site which supports frontline staff with coffee and hot beverages to help raise morale, provide a sense of normality and a pick me up especially after a 12 -hour shift.
We have enough funds to donate for 7 days however with £30k we would be able to offer a 3-month service offering 67,000 coffees to NHS staff.
