Double the number of Green Party Councillors on Calderdale Council

In 2022 Calderdale Council gained its first Green councillor, Martin Hey. In the May 2023 council elections, we would like local Green Party member and Shelf resident, Dan Wood, to join him on the Council. Last year Martin promised ‘to be a strong independent voice holding the current Labour-led council to account.’ He has delivered on that and Dan looks forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with Martin to ‘speak with one voice to bring improvements to our local area.’

We have a strong team of volunteers building on last year’s success in Northowram and Shelf but we still need money to pay for campaign materials. We do not have super rich donors supporting us; so we are relying on you to help us to finance the campaign and to get the message out that we need a stronger Green voice on Calderdale Council. Please give us what you can to make this another great election for the Green Party and Calderdale. Thank you.

We will be standing Green Party candidates in all wards; so you can also show your support by voting for the Green Party candidate in your ward.
