To provide FREE coaching for parents who are most in need; ensuring support is accessible for everyone wherever and whoever you are.
Dot Dot Dash coaching was born as a direct result of me struggling to go back to work after my second maternity leave – I was a mum who was disillusioned, overwhelmed and stressed, with reduced confidence and direction – I felt lost. Training to become a coach & being coached got me back on track- back to ‘me’. The process allowed me time to work out my mind muddle, built my confidence and drove me to find my strength within – inspiring a new direction and business. With a background in arts education (using arts as a teaching tool for creativity, learning and wellbeing) I now combine coaching and creativity to support people out of their Jam & to Fly!

The mission for crowdfunding this project is to make coaching accessible to all parents – it’s called The DASH Project. By removing the financial barrier, this vital support can be there for everyone - wherever and whoever you are.
As carergivers, much of the day revolves around looking after others – giving time, love and energy (as well as finance and resource), which leaves little left. Coaching is not a one-off fix, but a great life investment; it can help people access a deeper level of self-directed learning and develop personalised tools which can be utilised in a whole host of everyday situations life presents.
The Back Her Business campaign will kick-start the DASH project into action - providing free coaching to parents who need it. Designed with sustainability at the core it will work alongside the commercial arm of Dot Dot Dash coaching. Funding to sustain the DASH fund will happen in 4 ways;

Lockdown has shined a light on the juggle of parenthood. The 2020 Covid-19 pandemic has required people to ‘step up’ their roles at home, leaving careers on the back-burner as they try to balance ‘home-work’ and ‘work-work’. This has particularly impacted single-parent households, women and lower income families. Parents have been caring, working, teaching & surviving under one roof – fulfilling parental, social, financial and career obligations whilst trying to look after their own mental health.

The DASH fund will help with the balance. It will allow ALL parents to access coaching to support navigating current & future challenges. Coaching empowers and refuels, whilst providing focus and forward action. It provides a safe, supportive space for people to navigate change, find the answers and explore big and small goals (from working out how to cope with the everyday, to finding your dream job or starting your own business).

Supporting this campaign will kickstart the Dash fund and provide free 1to1 and group coaching sessions for parents who need it (where finance or other access needs are a barrier). Funds raised will:
