The Prizes!
We've got prizes to suit everyone! All prizes are generously donated from the Dornoch and the surrounding area so you know you're getting the Dornoch experience even if you can't join us this year (although we hope you can!).
The Event You're Supporting
For years, people have flocked from all over to experience a true Scottish Hogmanay in Dornoch. Our historic setting includes the 15th-century Dornoch Castle Hotel, the Dornoch Cathedral built in 1224 and the Carnegie Courthouse, all of which will be illuminated to create a magnificent venue for the midnight celebrations.
The evening of great music and a traditional ceilidh will start at 10pm and just before the year ends at midnight, the Lone Piper will take to the battlements of the Dornoch Castle Hotel - a true phenomenal site.
Whilst at the Street Party we keep the cold Scottish air at bay with some great food, from our local suppliers!
When the bells ring out at midnight, we belt out the words to Auld Lang Syne!
All this is planned and implemented with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers and kind donations from people, both locally and further afield. If you can join us in the celebrations - please do! If you can't, why not try our prize draw where we have plenty of chances to win some great Dornoch prizes!
Unfortunately, if we cannot secure enough funding this year then the event is likely to not return in the future.
Entries will be accepted until Thursday 2nd of January 2025 at 7pm.
Tickets are £2 each and will be allocated automatically for the draw. You will only receive acknowledgement for the actual amount, so if you contribute £10 you will be allocated 5 tickets, and these will be entered into the draw.
Anonymously purchased tickets will be unable to be entered into the draw.
