Who are we?
Dog Kennel Hill Adventure playground has been in the heart of the community for over 50 years offering a safe hub for children and families to enjoy both outdoor and indoor space. We are a small charity that relies on Gift Aid and fundraising streams to provide this service all year round after school and during school holidays.
Community impact
Many of our users are from single families and live in cramped housing conditions that have no gardens or open space. The playground provide an outlet for those in these positions and offers a variety of activities that broaden young peoples horizons.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We have a community hut which we use all year round but more specifically in the winter. This building needs to be heated so that the users are not cold.
