Aim: To continue running your DN35 podcast and fund local initiatives in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
We hope you enjoy the podcast, it’s a pleasure to run it on your behalf. As the cost of living increases, we need to try and find ways to absorb the costs as Alex’s money is going to paying the gas bill! The pod costs approximately £40 a month to run which has, up until now, come from Alex's pocket. Docks Beers very kindly pay for the site to be hosted on a website, but for the artwork and the live stream platforms we pay for that ourselves.
What we're hoping to do is raise enough money to run this for a year. Any additional funds will go to a new initiative aimed at providing a space for all the football lovers of Grimsby and Cleethorpes to get together and have a kick about!
Anyone who contributes will be put in to a draw for the now cleansed, match worn Linwood shirt. It has now been signed by far better players like Macca, Groves, Pouton, Bobby Cummings and the great Alan Buckley.
We want all those who love football to have somewhere to meet fellow town fans and get back out there playing the game they love! No pressure on ability or fitness, just an hour a week to go back to playing togger with mates.
Alex promises no funds will be used to purchase another flag. In fact, if we ever reach £1,000 he will take the ‘Keep Us Shape’ flag to the tip!
