Pakistan Floods

Devastating floods have left one third of Pakistan under water (that's equivalent to the entirety of the UK). 33 million people have been affected, with 6 million people in desperate need of humanitarian aid.

Pakistan is responsible for less than 1% of global emissions, yet it is the eighth most vulnerable nation to the climate crisis. It is paying a hefty price. The floods have damaged more than a million homes, swept away entire villages, livelihoods, crops, schools and roads. People urgently need food, clean drinking water and shelter.

Where will my donation go?

DEC charities are working directly or through local partners to help save lives, providing food, temporary shelter, medical aid, clean water and sanitation but more funds are urgently needed.

The Disaster Emergency Committee have set up ring-fenced funding to provide food, water, shelter and urgent medical care.
