FUNDING
Meeting our target for crowd funding will unlock money from the 'Grow fund' allocated by Leeds City Council Cultural Program. Every £1 raised by crowd funding will unlock matched funding, so every penny does count towards the success of this project.

OVERVIEW
In the year of Leeds 400th anniversary this project will use the battle of Holbeck Moor in on 27th September 1936 as an anchor. The final performance take place on the anniversary of this historic event.
Michelle aims to reconnect Leeds through voices of community, performance, and shared storytelling. Building on her earlier work, she want to create a piece that can be revisited in years to come — exploring how identity, division, and community shape our lives.
The Division Project gives voice to the people of Leeds, celebrating resilience while confronting social divides. Through interviews, workshops, video, and performance, Michelle will create a collective reflection of our city — honest, inclusive and hopeful.
"If we can’t hear one another, we risk losing our voice and with it, our sense of community and sanity."
Thank you to everyone who supports this project. As a token of our appreciation all supporters will be invited to the preview show at Slung Lows Warehouse on Friday 18th September 7:30pm.
