Your support will help to fund the new floor and secure the future of London Thunder...
To help raise funds for London Thunder Basketball who desperately need a new floor so they can continue to coach the players of the future.
I am Digby a 13yr old Basketball enthusiast who plays at London Thunder Basketball club every Saturday and during the holidays. I absolutely love the sport as you are part of team and it keeps me fit and active. I have met so many great people here.
I knew London Thunder needed support to raise funds for a new floor and as I just started doing Duke of Edinburgh, my Bronze Award, I thought it would be a great idea to combine the two projects and help them to raise some money for the club as part of my volunteering section.
I have pledged to shoot 200 shots everyday for 30 days - in the rain or the sunshine!
Please support me by donating whatever you can for this great cause and join me in the challenge.

London Thunder are a south east London basketball club who engage around 15,000 young people in basketball each year. Not only do they develop basketball players but they also give all their young club members access to training to become official coaches, referees and table officials. The Director of coaching is Steve Bucknall, the first Englishman to play in the NBA for the LA Lakers.

London Thunder need a new floor, their much used basket ball court has become damaged beyond repair. Due to the extent of the damage they have been advised that the only solution is to remove the existing floor completely and replace with a new floor.
This new floor will mean that London Thunder can continue to teach and train the future generations of the Basketball world.
London Thunder offers a safe space where young people can feel a sense of belonging, resilience, and self-empowerment.
They impact their local community by sustaining engagement in a healthy activity and in a space where young people are empowered to reach their full potential.
