Diane Abbott's Campaign Fund

Aim: Raising money to re-elect Diane Abbott as the MP for Hackney North & Stoke Newington and supporting ongoing campaigning.

It is an honour and the privilege of my life to be standing as the Labour Party’s parliamentary candidate for Hackney North and Stoke Newington - a constituency that I have represented for almost 37 years. For me, this constituency is not just a parliamentary seat.  It is my home and a community from which I draw strength and inspiration every day.

The challenge we face

The last 14 years of Tory chaos, a Brexit ‘not done’ and austerity has left our communities bearing the brunt of economic mismanagement, soaring costs of living, crumbling public services and social decline. Across Hackney and Stoke Newington, residents are facing serious hardships and the negative impact of years of Tory rule is being felt by each and every one of us. 

A Labour government is needed now more than ever to tackle the housing crisis, rebuild our public services, increase youth provision, implement a sustainable plan to address NHS waiting lists; and improve safety on our streets.  

My priorities and vision

I have listened to residents, businesses, charities and community organisations in Hackney and Stoke Newington.  I have heard clearly what our priorities must be and if re-elected, I will push for the progressive policies we need to invest in communities; foster inclusive economic growth; create secure job opportunities; and support the development of safer, greener neighbourhoods.
