Lifesaving Dialysis Treatment Appeal
Attached is a photo of Mark (Aka Dewi) in the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He has spent the last three days sitting and sleeping in a wheelchair at the hospital due to bed shortages.
Mark is now immobilised due to failing kidneys and urgently requires dialysis treatment. However, there is a considerable backlog at the hospital, which is a constraint on their dialysis machines. Due to the severity of his condition, he has been advised to go private to save his life - a very expensive route.
Mark is a father of four children who recently lost his taxi operator job because of his illness. We are appealing for support to get him the help he needs to recover.
