FEEDING THE NEEDY AND BUILDING A HOUSE Here is an opportunity for pleasing Almighty Allah SWT by serving humanity in the blessed 10 days.

FEEDING THE POOR

Doing good deeds and striving to please Almighty Allah SWT by serving humanity is one of the best deeds one can perform during the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah. Let's race in Feeding the Miskeen and Fuqara and building a shelter for a Brother in need.

In Kenya, we are feeding the poor and needy who are in a desperate state. 

This Dhul Hijjah we want to raise donations and make sure it gets there in time for us to distribute in the 10 best days. 

We will be delivering food to some of the most destitute families in Kenya. 

Join us in this noble deed.

HOUSE PROJECT

Brother Abid Miah is a part of our PTJ family, in Bangladesh.

He was a Tailor by profession. He would earn and support his wife and young son.

Eight years ago he suffered a stroke and became paralysed. With a lot of work and effort he regained strength in his leg, and with support and a walking stick he is able to attend the masjid.

He is a regular mussali and struggles but goes five times a day. 

Unfortunately his hand did not regain any strength. He is not able to work or earn to support his family. 

He lives in one room in his family home shared with other members. 

He, his wife, and son have one room. They use this for everything. Cooking, sleeping, living space, all in one small room.

For the past 6 months he is being forced to move out and has no place to go.

He owns a small plot of land inherited from his father but has no financial help to build a house. 

When we visited him last, he was in tears, he said the burden of living in this one room is getting to much to bare. He has no place to go and no one to ask for help. Everyday he is being asked to leave because the family need the room. 

He is in despair. He is making dua and asking Allah SWT to help his situation.

We would like to raise £3,500. This will build two rooms and one small kitchen and bathroom. 

Together we can ease him of his worry and help a brother in need.

“Whoever relieves a Believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah SWT will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah SWT will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah SWT will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter." (Muslim).
