#SaveOurVenues - The Bungalow

The Bungalow is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues. 

Our venue faces closure because of how long the Covid Crisis has lasted and the length of time we will have to wait to open. 

Asking for help, particularly financially, is difficult for us but due to the corona virus situation we are in the impossible position of being unable to trade at all but still having significant costs. We have already seen the kindness from some of you in a recent campaign and that has helped and to you , Thank You Very Much. Since then things have got worse. 

We personally cannot forsee us being able to open before September (or later)and who knows what social distancing rules will have to be adhered to, the future is very uncertain. But we will have to adapt and forge ahead.

We will do everything in our power to make sure we make it through this and continue doing what we do because we believe what we do is important and adds value to society both locally, nationally and internationally

Your donations will be used to put together a programme of live shows and all the money will go to help struggling musicians get back on their feet. If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
