Aim

After a year to forget, support us to fix up our taproom and make it a summer to remember - while you double your money.

About us

We moved into our current space in Hackney about 3 years ago, brewing from an ex-garage railway arch and serving beers out of a small converted caravan.

With a growing customer base, a new brewer, new recipes and a pair of award winning beers, 2020 started off pretty well for us and things were looking bright. We even managed to squeeze in a collaboration beer with hip-hop legends Run The Jewels, which for us was always a special moment.

All in all though, to say last year wasn’t great would be an enormous understatement. With most of our trade coming from hospitality we were hit hard, and this last year was all about biding our time, adapting and survival.

What now ? 

Well now that the government has laid out a plan to open up hospitality again we can look ahead and make plans. For us that includes making the most of our taproom come April 12th and through the summer, and although over time we’ve built up the space from looking like a patched up ex-garage it still needs a good sprinkling of TLC.

We want to liven the place up, make it more cosy, fix every nook and cranny possible ("There's a few of those" I can hear George shouting in his Northern accent!), and depending on how much we can raise - put a roof over the yard so we’re also covered for the wetter months. 

Every penny you pledge will be used to make our taproom a more fun and safe environment to welcome you and the many events we’ve got planned for the summer.

How you can help? 

Now picture this! It’s June 21st and you are buzzing because you can meet up with your mates again in a bar for a long overdue catch-up and a few freshly poured pints. But when you get to this said bar for every beer you buy, you get another one for free*. Well that’s exactly what we’re offering you. Pledge money upfront now and we’ll double it as a tab at our taproom as soon as we’re able to open up again. 

Double your money awards will be fulfilled as a gift card which you can use in our taproom for as long as it's still got credit on it.

In addition to that, we’ve also setup a selection of special rewards like spending a day brewing your own beer with us or booking out our taproom for a private event. 

So this a call to our wonderful local community of fans and those further out to show us some support now when we need it, and get some serious value. Looking forward to seeing you all the taproom for a beer or three.
