Christ Centre is a 1912 building of historic significance - the first cinema in Southampton. This building which was last used as a bingo hall was left derelict since 2020. It has now been purchased by Covenant Church and reclaimed for community use. The building survey carried out by Vivid Chartered Surveyors confirmed evidence of multiple water ingress into the property and damage from a previous fire to the roof space of the building.
As part of the restoration of this beautiful property, whilst maintaining its original architectural features, we require funding for a complete renovation of the entire building which is over 11,000 square meters and would feature a 600-seater auditorium, children's areas, educational rooms and offices.

600-capacity ultra-modern worship auditorium.
- Elderly Care
Need-based places of meeting, fellowship, dining and entertainment for the elderly.
- Community Cafe.
Creative space crowned with the beautiful scent of coffee and tea and freshly made pastries.
- Childcare
Colourful haven and play area with friendly and trained professionals, providing all-around child and early-years care.
- Youth Skills Centre.
Promoting mental and emotional well-being and equipping young people with essential career skills.
