The aim it to fund the conversion of the story into a viable script for the movie & sell the rights for production of the film & it's sequel
Mental Dental (Murder By Proxy) & my sequel novel Obsession of the Damned
I am an author and have the opportunity to get two of my published books converted to movie scripts and then presented to movie executives for them to bid for the rights to the films. The books are a crime thriller with a sequel, both written, published and available. I am not a screenplay writer though and this is where I need some crowd funding support to pay for the screen writing and hope it can be achieved through this platform. As a disabled person and of mixed race, it would be an awesome opportunity to have a more targeted and representative profile for us in the arts.
BTW : The books are available on Amazon and are best described as a killer thriller, Murder mystery with twists and turns to challenge and enjoy. The lead hero is Jessie Stack... But I'd be giving it all away if I told you more. It's worth reading and defo investing in.
