Delivering Food Where Terror Has Struck

To provide direct and meaningful support to Nigerian communities being plagued by insecurity.

Vans Without Borders is partnering with Nigerian social enterprise Forti Foods to deliver nutritious meals to rural communities affected by insecurity across Northern Nigeria.

Many Nigerian farming communities have been targeted by armed bandit groups, with crops and equipment stolen and families forced to pay crippling ransoms to secure the release of kidnapped loved ones. These devastating attacks have left countless families facing severe financial hardship. Our aim is to provide food assistance that eases some of this burden, allowing families to focus on rebuilding their lives and livelihoods.

Forti Foods specialises in producing nutritious, easy-to-cook, boil-in-the-bag meals made using ingredients sourced from Nigerian suppliers. This not only provides high-quality food but also supports local farmers and businesses, helping to strengthen the local economy.

Our priority is to support the most vulnerable households, particularly those with young children, elderly relatives, or family members living with disabilities, ensuring that our assistance reaches those who need it most.

For just £7, you can provide three nutritious meals to someone who has lost so much. Every meal offers not only nourishment, but also hope and the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.

Our goal is to give families a full month's supply of nutritious food, costing approximately £210 per person. Your generosity can lift the burden from parents struggling to feed their children and provide vulnerable families with the stability they desperately need during an incredibly difficult time.
