Defibrillator for Dunstall park

Aim
Dunstall park is a massive estate with many residents if we all pull together to raise the money to have a defibrillator installed.
On July 7th 2025, Monday morning my partner got up to go the gym as he normally does . Whilst at the gym during his spin class he suffered a cardiac arrest. The staff and other gym users jumped in to action and started immediate cpr , the gym had defibrillators on site and these were used 4 times on him which resulted in getting his heart going before the arrival of paramedics and air ambulance. My partner was rushed to the royal derby and ventilated and few days later he had successful stent surgery and was discharged on the Friday . He is now recovering well. Many doctors during his time in hospital advised without the staff and helpers and defibrillator he wouldn’t be here now ! As a family this was the worse time seeing a young healthy 49 year old man nearly lose his life . You just never know what is around the corner . Stats say less then 10% of people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest . The chances of survival with defibrillation is higher . I am asking all the resident of Dunstall park to donate so we can get this life saving equipment on the estate . You just never know when someone could need it and It could be the difference between life or death . Please donate even small amounts will mount up . Please don’t think it won’t happen to you , I always thought this and it happened to the love of my life and I’m so grateful he’s still hear smiling . Any extra money raised I would like to donate to the air ambulance as again they are such a life saving cause. Thank you x
