Aim

Please donate whatever you can to help me hold Tim Loughton to account for the suffering being caused by his government's policies.

I stood in the 2015 election because I was so concerned and outraged by the government forcing through a massive and disastrous NHS reorganisation that no one voted for and which mandated the privatisation of the NHS. Even in the two years since then, the situation has become worse.

Due to sustained underfunding we are now seeing NHS Ambulances fail to reach most seriously ill and injured patients in time, sick children's wellbeing compromised by a shortage of NHS staff, and dozens of accident and emergency units facing closure or being downgraded in a move which senior doctors say would have “disastrous” consequences for the NHS. Since Theresa May became Prime Minister the decline in standards for NHS patients has been atrocious. Targets are missed across the board and her Government is in complete denial as to the fundamental failings of their sustained underfunding of our NHS. This is why NHA candidates are standing.

The NHS is being destroyed, our adult and child social care is being cut so severely that more and more desperate and unwell people are not going to be able get the healthcare they need.  That's not the NHS I want for my kids. I am standing to represent all those people who want to put their NHS first in this election.

As someone who has fought for years for media space to campaign against the gradual destruction of the NHS and our social care system, it's too good an opportunity to turn down. It's an ultra-safe Tory constituency so I won't be threatening a Labour seat. Please donate whatever you can to help me hold Tim Loughton to account for the suffering being caused by his government's policies.
