Please help me to defend myself against an abusive libel claim from notorious multimillionaire landlord Fergus Wilson.
Multi-millionaire landlord Fergus Wilson is suing me for libel, simply for saying - perfectly accurately - that he is ineligible to run for the office of Police and Crime Commissioner. Wilson is claiming £50,000 - apparently to bully me into silence.
I have already successfully defeated one claim from him, but he has come back for a second attempt and, due to an error by the Courts' Service, been able to obtain a default judgment against me. I am raising funds both to have this judgment set aside and to defend his claim against me.
Wilson is a notorious figure who had to be ordered by a court to drop his discriminatory lettings practices and who has recently been made subject to an injunction from Ashford Council to stop him harassing Councillors and staff, including urging people to kill themselves. Please help me stop him abusing our libel laws to silence people.
