We've got a new "home" but we need your help!

Who are Deckards?

We've been on the Sheffield scene since 2018 serving up our "soft 'n' fluffy" goods over at Barrowboy on Abbeydale Road.
We won the Exposed award for Streetfood in 2019, managed to survive the pandemic, raised money for charity's we believe in and sold over 140,000 bao to the fine folk of Sheffield and we want to continue to do so!

Fast forward to the present and we have departed from Barrowboy and have set our sights on a new place to call home!

What's the plan?

We shall be moving into Best Boy Bagel on Chesterfield road, a new concept devised by one half of the Deckards creators Dec Stafford.

The goal is to open as a freshly made bagel shop by day and then dishing out the bao loaded fries (and all that good stuff you've grown to love) during the evenings and night. "Bagel by day, Bao by night"

We will also be offering our homemade sauces for sale in our new digs so at long last you can have that "coriander hot sauce" in your cupboards at home as well as additional products think of it as a sort of "Baodega"

Why do we need help?

We need your help to kit out the kitchen and get the new shop ready, we want to get the best equipment to ensure the quality you have come to expect is of the same high regard. We want to use local independents as much as possible to help with the kit out of the shop there are so many talented individuals in this city alot to whom we now call friends, so we want to put money back into community and not into the pockets of big chains and corporations.


What will we get for our investment?
In return for your investment we have teamed up with some legendary independents who have very kindly invited to use their venues for a collaborative menu- everyone loves a good takeover and we have some very fun ones in store!

As well as this, we’re also gonna knock out some sweet sweet Deckards and Best Boy merch. Pins, tees and totes. Super stylish fashion accessories, all acting as a little thank-you to help us reach our goal.

Get your name on the extraction! If you pledge we will get your name up on the extraction (hand written by Dec himself) to be forever immortalised for helping us out.

Gift vouchers will be up for grabs for both Deckards and Best Boy Bagels for all your bao and bagel needs.
As we started out as a street food trader we will dust off the gazebo and you can hire Deckards for your private function, be it wedding, party or bar mitzvah!

Finally, if you wanna just be an absolute legend, you can just stick us a bit of money to basically say good luck and here’s a little something to help you on your way. Literally anything you guys can give us is crazy helpful and we will be forever grateful.
