Aim
Back Dean Ronan for the Senedd – a strong voice for Afan Ogwr Rhondda, fighting for fairness and opportunity for all.
I’m Dean Ronan, a teacher, rugby coach, husband and dad, standing to be the Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate for Afan Ogwr Rhondda in the next Senedd election. I was born and raised in South Wales, and now I’m raising my daughter here with my wife, Chloe. This is our home — and I want it to be a place where families feel supported, where young people have opportunities, and where no one is left behind.
My team is made up of local volunteers and community activists who share a belief that politics should be rooted in fairness, opportunity and community. We are determined to run a campaign that gives everyone a voice — not just those who usually get heard.
My vision is simple: a stronger voice for our valleys in the Senedd. I will campaign for better education, stronger health services, real investment in local jobs, and improved transport links — practical changes that make a difference to everyday lives.
The money you give will go directly into building this campaign: printing leaflets, knocking doors, holding events, and making sure we can reach every community across Afan Ogwr Rhondda. Every pound helps us to connect with more people and share a message of hope, fairness, and opportunity.
