Dean Rodney Jr. and the Cowboys are raising money to record their second album, "Saddle Up!"

Dean Rodney Jr. is a genre-defying solo artist, known for his infectious disco-pop grooves, surreal lyrics, and visionary world-building. Best recognised as the golden-suited frontman of Dean Rodney Jr. & The Cowboys.

Dean is a prolific musician with Autism, who describes his music as a mix between hiphop and pop. In the last 4 years Dean has written and recorded over 50 albums, describing a fictional alternative version of the present day, Dean TV World.

His band, The Cowboys is a co-produced project between Dean and the artist Rosie Ridgway. They have collaborated closely for many years. Rosie plays bass in the band.

The band released their first album, "The Yeehaw Moment" in 2021. Since then the band have played extensively across the U.K, and at festivals including Supernormal, Contrapop and Counterflows.

The Cowboys have a brand new collection of songs to record and want to produce an album that gets as close as possible to realising Dean's vision and make the songs sound as good as they can. The album is called "Saddle Up!" and we can't wait for you to hear it. 

If successful, the money raised for the project will be used for: 

10 days of studio time for recording

Mixing and mastering the album

Session musicians including an arranger, a string quartet and a banjo player

Album artwork and design, including commissioning a painter to create an original piece for the front cover

A music video 

An album launch party!
