David Niccolls Liver Cancer Proton Therapy Fund

Aim

Our Goal is to raise £100,000 by the end of October towards Liver Cancer treatment in the US.

Recently diagnosed with an inoperable Liver Cancer due to a large tumour. 

Seeking targeted Proton Therapy Radiation Treatment which is not currently available within the UK and looking to raise £100,000 between now and the end of October. 

Treatment is expected to last 3 - 6 months to enable the tumour to shrink so that a future operation can take place to remove the tumour, which is almost certainly linked to a previous medical condition Colitis which resulted in an operation over 10 years ago to remove his colon and subsequent PSC.  He has only been advised of Chemotherapy treatment within the UK which has limited success in the Liver.

Proton Therapy is a highly precise form of radiation treatment that can target tumours within an intricate area whilst avoiding healthy tissues in and around the liver and offers less risk with fewer side effects than other non-radiation treatments such as chemotherapy. 

We would love for him to see Corey’s 21st Birthday and both of our Graduation Ceremonies and would be grateful for any donation made towards achieving this target.
