Dartmoor Rescue Group has four teams based at Okehampton, Ashburton, Tavistock and Plymouth around Dartmoor. We're a Voluntary Mountain Search and Rescue asset assisting the Police in Devon and Cornwall and sometimes elsewhere in the UK in times of national emergency (flooding etc). We receive little statutory funding and rely on donations, so please help us if you can.
We have around 220 volunteers across the four Teams, "It's not just mountains"! we help search for vulnerable and High risk persons across Devon.
