Darling, Darling! — a future feature film

Aim

I’ve been working on this movie for years now, and I’m finally ready to make this dream a reality. I’m going to need your help to do it!

Hi there!

You may know me as Grace, founder of Bridgett Films, and an independent British filmmaker. I’m based in Staffordshire but for this project, I’d really like to travel across the country to accurately film the scenes I have in mind.

I’m going to be making a movie about two estranged siblings finding eachother and helping eachother to see the brighter side of life. Arnold, a man who’s childhood was ripped from him when his father left and his mother died, now has to raise his half-sister, Hope, whom he’s never even heard of, who’s been raised by his absent father and has a *serious* collection of behavioural issues.

When Arnold realises he can’t take care of Hope and she’s just too much for him to handle, he tells her he’s going to find her mother and leave her with her. Hope, equally fed up with his stuff attitude and way of living, agrees and offers to help. 

The two are set to embark on a road trip from the very bottom south of England, all the way up to the north of Scotland. Will the slivers left of their sibling bond be able to carry them there? Will any bumps and trials get in their way? Will they even make it to Scotland?

Who knows! You’ll all only ever find out if we can get this movie funded!

I’m hoping that by this time next year, I’ll finally be able to find and pay for:

- actors 

- background actors 

- camera crew 

- lighting tech 

- sound tech 

- sfx crew 

- screenwriter/s

- producers & PA’s 

- directors & AD’s 

- editors 

- musician & score 

- hair stylists

- makeup artists 

- clothes stylists/designers

And so many more!!!

And outside of the filming process, I’d also have to be able to pay for:

- rest & shelter 

- food & drinks 

- gas money

- travel 

- employee pay 

- film festival submissions 

and not to mention buying the tech to do it! It’s gonna cost a pretty penny!

But, with time and effort and patience, I believe we can do this. We! Me and you, and everyone else involved!
