I’m Daoud Nawaz. I was born in Manchester, I went to school here, I live here, and in September I stood for the Green Party in the Burnage by-election. We won 1,037 votes, 32% of the vote, and finished just 328 behind Labour. We did it with a small team, a big heart and a lot of doorsteps.

Now I’m standing again in May 2027, and I’m not doing it alone. This is the biggest campaign the Manchester Green Party has ever run, with 18 target wards across the city. That takes printing, posters and people, and we can’t win it without you.
