A step up for Sussex Dance Network's Dance Trail helping choreographers start new ideas and share work.
It’s time for the Network’s Dance Trail to support choreographers to explore new ideas and we need your help.

WHY ARE WE FUNDRAISING?
For next year's Dance Trail we would like to take the support of artists one step further. Your support will fund:
- 5 bursaries for choreographers/companies to spend a day playing and exploring ideas for their work within the Dance Trail 2020. Artists will be invited to apply for one of these bursaries detailing how it would support the development of their work.
- The Dance Trail has always been organised and run by volunteers. This funding will enable us to give a small financial contribution towards the time of a volunteer producer.
- Support to help artists to take the work they make beyond The Dance Trail.
With your support we can make this happen for the first time, making next year's Dance Trail the best one yet.
ABOUT THE DANCE TRAIL
Sussex Dance Network have put on a Dance Trail in Brighton Fringe for five years supporting 34 pieces of work by new and established artists, and reaching new audiences.
A multi-site outdoor event, the Dance Trail presents short works by choreographers and dancers and creates unexpected, unique and exciting contemporary dance for outdoor locations.

- We want the Dance Trail to represent the diversity of artists working in Sussex and hope these bursaries will help to remove any barriers preventing people from applying to participate.
