We are aiming to raise just £70 TODAY to be able to build the website to grow our social enterprise, benefiting our Camphill community.
Dear Friends of Danby Health Shop, Botton Village Camphill Community and the Camphill Movement
We are calling on you today to ask you to support us in growing our social enterprise, and in doing so our Camphill Community.
Many of you already know that the co-workers of Botton Village Camphill Community have formed an Association. This has come about after an intense two year period of fighting to preserve the shared living of our community, allowing our disabled and non-disabled residents to continue to live and work together. We are now well on the way to ensuring that this can continue in Botton Village and the surrounding community. However, central to the Camphill philosophy is the provision of meaningful work for the residents of the community. And unfortunately, we have not been able to secure our own land and workshops in Botton Village to be able to do this. However, through the pooling of our salaries, and much scrimping and saving, we have collectively managed to buy our local health shop, based in Danby.
We now need to create a platform via which we can market our produce and community intiatives. Lydia is busy creating a website via wordpress that will support a blog and other online content.
But... she is working with a free account and would dearly like to upgrade this to be able to create a beautiful website through which we can also make money that will feed back into supporting our Camphill Community.
So, if we can raise £70 today, Lydia can upgrade the account to be able to better customize the website and host our own advertising. For £250, we could buy a business account that would help us to better analyse how the website is used.
We know that there is a lot of love out there for us. We have already called on our supporters in so many ways, and people from all over the world have helped us financially, emotionally and by offering services to us.
Can we raise just £70 in the next 24 hours to support our growing Health Shop business? We hope so!

P.S. If we don't hit our target of £230, we will keep anything in excess of £70 and put it back into the association to help host a forthcoming event where we will sell and market our produce. If you pay by card, then funds will go into our association bank account. Paypal payments will go directly into Lydia's paypal account and she will then transfer these over.
